The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS 2SS is the top of the line Camaro featuring 4 piston Brembo® brakes, a 426 horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, 20-inch alloy wheels with sterling silver finish, leather heated seats, Bluetooth® wireless technology, and a USB port. The standard equipment package with this model includes front bucket seats, a CD-ROM and MP3 playback Boston Acoustics audio system, and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Additionally, the Camaro SS is equipped with StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control, an oil-life monitor, tire pressure monitor, OnStar with one-year Directions & Connections plan, dual-stage frontal air bags, and three months of XM Radio.
Standard features with most Camaro models include side impact air bags, rear body airbags, front and rear head curtain air bags, rear window defogger, cruise control, power driver and passenger seats, power steering, and floor mats.
Performance parts include multi-link strut for the front suspension, 4.5-link independent rear suspension, sequential fuel injection, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, four-wheel disc brakes, and a 150 amp alternator.
The Camaro SS 2SS offers 16 miles per gallon fuel usage when driving in the city, the highway fuel economy is 24 miles per gallon. This is quite impressive when comparing fuel efficiency with the standard Camaro, the 3.6-liter 304 horsepower V6 version, which only achieves 17 miles per gallon (city) and 29 miles per gallon (highway).
