Inside Line: Spy Photos – Audi S7 Arrives at the ‘Ring’
Earlier this week we showed you spy video of the upcoming Audi A7. Now it appears as though the engineers from Audi have turned their attention to the high-powered S7. The wheel and brakes alone are enough to confirm that this is an S7, but there’s a set of quad tailpipes out back just in case you’re not convinced. Unconfirmed reports suggest this vehicle will get Audi’s new 4.0-liter V8 along with the eight-speed transmission that’s finding its way into most of the company’s lineup. Full Story…

The driver’s side door sprung open as the car slid down the tarmac, and Bartocci could be seen flailing outside the vehicle. When it finally came to a stop, the Raging Bull turned into a raging fireball. Fire crews initially took longer than expected to pull the driver from the wreckage and were seen using underpowered fire extinguishers to battle the blaze. The FIA is expected to investigate the incident. Amazingly, Bartocci survived the ordeal and is currently in intensive care. Full Story…

So far, Porsche’s entry into the luxury sedan segment has paid off: Sales of its Panamera are strong, and the company is particularly pleased by the take rate of the Turbo model, which it says is far higher than expected. This should fill the competition with envy, as the most powerful versions of the Audi A8, BMW 7-series, and Mercedes S-class are virtually saleproof in Europe and certainly far from volume models over here.
